- Focus more on the success of your customer than on the success of your business. Victor on DareDream ([email protected] - Brand Strategist)
- We need to figure out what we want people to be doing every day to build a strong community and then build systems of people and apps and businesses that motivate everyone in that direction. Mentorship. People teaching people… not just head knowledge but life skills and career development and high growth business success.
- Core values & Value Proposition :: strategy, innovation, motivation (drives behavior), mentoring, training (ie. Not trying), disrupting, networking (ie. Not solo), measurable results, metric driven pay, sharing knowledge (not proprietary) although helping everyone = helping no one. Need to promote and accelerate the leaders.
- Romy Kapoor (linked in) - I must say your mission is a very worthy one. In an ideal world, it would be great if folks didn't feel the need to have to emigrate from their home countries. Without fail, in my 30+ years of immigration practice, I can't think of one client who didn't want to ultimately return to their home country, and probably wished they had never felt the need to leave for reasons of education, economic, safety, etc. I wish you all the best in your endeavor,
Romy
- what if the biggest need for people in poverty in Machakos Kenya is not funding, handouts, or even education. What if the biggest need for a community in poverty is business coaching and leadership development.
- There are not enough people in the world solving unemployment. We need the brightest minds to be solving unemployment and may need to pay them enough to keep them focused on this important topic. If everyone woke up each day and knew what to do to be productive - working together - how to work together - we could solve unemployment and poverty. Bottom line of every business should be EMPLOYEES (properly compensated, able to support their family, access to food/clothing/owning their own home/and healthcare). If you add up all of the previous bits of wisdom (puzzle pieces) then the most important job in any company is the people/leaders who help train employees, make sure they are properly compensated and cared for, build the culture, enable the employees to be successful (process), etc. Businesses are not “money engines” but should be “successful people engines” with an output that generates value for the community.
